Service

Every year, the International Relations Club at William & Mary supports different non-governmental organizations, advocacy groups, or philanthropy. In efforts recognized by Best Delegate’s “Best College Model UN Organizations, Leaders, Projects, and Administration 2021-22,” we focus not only on monetary contributions itself, but also on raising awareness and highlighting overlooked social problems.

For the 2024 - 2025 year, we are supporting the Avalon Center, a local Williamsburg community organization working to end domestic and sexual violence. They work to break the cycle of abuse through prevention, education, shelter, and support services. More information is available on their website: https://avaloncenter.org. Contributions provided to this organization assist them with their mission and create a real impact on the affected populations.
